Consultant
Marcia Hargreaves is a consultant with The Greeley Company, a division of HCPro, Inc., in Marblehead, MA. She brings more than 25 years of healthcare experience to her work with hospitals and healthcare organizations across the country.
Hargreaves specializes in preparing organizations for accreditation and regulatory compliance. In addition, she assists clients by providing quality and performance improvement expertise.
Prior to joining The Greeley Company, Hargreaves worked in hospital management with responsibility for quality improvement, regulatory and accreditation activities, and public reporting of clinical process and outcome measures. In addition to consulting, Hargreaves is an assistant professor in the Health System Management program at Rush University in Chicago and has served as the course director for the Quality in Healthcare course. She has received several faculty awards including the Bruce A. Campbell Award; Faculty Leadership; Exemplary Commitment to Faculty, Students, and Alumni; Teacher-Practitioner; and Outstanding Commitment to Committee Work.
Hargreaves has presented locally and nationally on topics including accreditation, quality improvement, core measures, pay for performance, and public reporting.
Hargreaves received undergraduate and graduate degrees in Health Administration from the University of St. Francis. She maintains memberships with the National Association for Healthcare Quality, the Illinois Association for Healthcare Quality, and the Quality Advisory Committee for the Illinois Hospital Association.
