Gayle Bielanski, RN, BS, CPHQ, is a senior consultant with The Greeley Company, a division of HCPro, Inc., in Marblehead, MA. She brings more than 20 years of experience in quality, Joint Commission, CMS, accreditation, and regulatory compliance to her work with hospitals across the country.

Bielanski specializes in preparing organizations for accreditation and regulatory compliance. In addition, she assists clients in implementing efficient case management practices by reducing length of stay, minimizing cost, and ensuring optimum outcome using a professional model of collaborative practice to improve quality through coordination of care.

Bielanski has a background in nursing administration, quality, risk, and case management. Prior to joining The Greeley Company, Bielanski served as regional director of quality resource management for a 120-facility healthcare system, with responsibilities for regulatory compliance and case management in acute, long-term, ambulatory, and home health care. Her experience includes project management in core measure development for a major accreditation organization and many years directing quality/risk departments in acute and long-term care. She has also worked as the quality director for a 300-bed children's hospital supervising quality, risk management, and infection control.

Bielanski is the author of the HCPro/Greeley book, Practical Guide to Core Measures Improvement (2009).

Bielanski holds an active license as an RN and received her BS in Health Arts from the University of St. Francis in Joliet, IL. She is a certified professional in healthcare quality (CPHQ) through NAHQ.
